Jubileum Forodrim

In just one year’s time it’s on! The Forodrim celebrates its 54th anniversary and of course we hope that you will come and celebrate with us! There will be gallant galas, happy high jinks and ingenious ice-breakers.
A concert with specially written music will be performed, you will enjoy afternoon tea with the hobbits, exciting lectures and not least there will be exhibitions and debates.
Are you planning to come to the jubilee and have an idea for an exciting workshop? Or do you know everything about hobbit lunch habits, Valarin or something else from Tolkien’s works? Then feel free to give a lecture about it during the jubilee! Or participate in a panel and tell us about your society: what is your own history like, and how do you do Tolkien?
At the jubilee website you can suggest programs, both those you can think of being responsible for and those you just have an idea
for if you want to share.
The jubilee will take place on May 28th – 31th at Camp Västeräng outside Motala. We will assist foreign guests with transport from Stockholm to the festival site. Children are allowed at the jubilee and we hope to have some activities aimed at our younger guest
